The outdoor sports chain looks set to open on Chiswick High Road
Two new faces are coming to Chiswick High Road, the outdoor shop Mountain Warehouse is planning to open on the former Superdrug site, while an upmarket shoe shop, Daniel Footwear is replacing the former Fina boutique which closed recently. Vacant Superdrug site on Chiswick High Road Mountain Warehouse will be the second outdoor clothing shop to come to Chiswick as Cotswold Outdoor is due to open in November further up the High Road in the former Job Centre. They have not yet responded to our enquiry about the opening date but workmen on the site have confirmed the store's intention to open there and they have submitted a planning application for a new shop front. Mountain Warehouse has been selling outdoor clothing and equipment since it was founded in 1997 and now has 160 outlets. The stores and online site offer hiking clothing and camping equipment, ski wear and running gear for men, women and children. Mountain Warehouse's Fulham store Unlike other outdoor retailers, almost all the products they sell through their stores and web site are exclusive to Mountain Warehouse as they favour their own brand. Daniel Footwear is an independent retailer with over 30 stores in the UK, and a head office in Leeds. It stocks a collection of designer shoes, bags and accessories. Along with its own Italian Daniel brand it stocks DKNY, Juicy Couture, Ash, Love From Australia, UGG, Tory Burch, Hunter, Michael Kors, Melissa, Vivienne Westwood and many more. www.danielfootwear.com
