Solve The Marmalade Mystery and Win £1000 Diamond | ||
Charity treasure hunt to take place in Chiswick over Easter Weekend
Chiswick jeweller Marmalade has announced they are holding a treasure hunt with a difference – the prize is a diamond worth £1,000. The competition is the brainchild of jeweller Simon Johnson to raise money for Help a London Child. Simon is inviting teams to register for the Marmalade Mystery. Each participating team must pledge to raise at least £20 for Help a London Child. The hunt itself will take place over the Easter weekend and consist of finding 14 different locations in and around Chiswick. Teams of up to 4 players (with at least one member under the age of 14) need to register at Marmalade on Turnham Green Terrace where they will be issued with an entry pack and sponsorship form. The first clue can be collected from Marmalade from Friday 21st March at 9.00am. The time the clue is issued is recorded and compared to the time the complete set of clues is handed over. The closing deadline is 3.00pm on Easter Monday, 24th March 2008 when the fastest overall team will be declared the winner. Simon said, “The idea of Marmalade Mysteries is for families to have fun together over the bank holiday weekend and bring the community of Chiswick together to raise as much money for Help a London Child as possible. Good luck and happy hunting.” February 28, 2008 |
