High Road Auctions’ quarterly Fine Arts & Selected Antiques Sale will be held on Tuesday 17th September at 6pm and will feature an array of exceptional quality silver, fine art, ceramics, furniture and jewellery.

A highlight of the auction is a private collection of fine 18th   and 19th   century portraits. Key lots include a portrait of the Hon Harie Maule by 18th century English portrait painter Benjamin Ferrers, a pastel portrait of a lady by William Hoare of Bath, an oil on canvas by Scottish portraitist Thomas Murray and a 19th century watercolour by Frederick Smallfield.
