"A wonderful response" was how Mike Moran of Top Hat Cleaners described Saturday's event.

"We increased the quantity and quality of the live music this year and it was great to have Ray Lowe with us to help MC the day on top of his singing duties at the Glebe Street end. And what a find Tony Goff was, great sounds, but also on the day he stepped forward to help manage all the other acts at his end of the street."

Lazy Lawn provided twice as much grass this year and also won the Mascot race!

W4 Youth, the charity of the day, will be benefiting from the large amount raised. That amount will be matched by Barclays Bank-final tallies hope to see at least £3,000 raised, which when matched could see £6,000 going to this local charity.

W4 Youth also showcased their talent with a dance and singing routine. There was a Rugby Kicking Competition for the little ones (Chiswick Rugby Club), Pimms and Popcorn for the grownups, and Brentford Footbal Club did some coaching and gave away tickets to games. They used the AstroTurf from Lazy Lawn for the footie.

The wide range of music this year ranged from Rat Pack and Swing, through Elvis, onto Brazilian and African, but also including local bands and soloists.

The street has a web site www.devonshireroad.london and you can also follow your favourite shops on twitter or the @devonshireroadw4.
