Fun for all the family in aid of Riding for the Disabled Association

Saturday June 19th sees Devonshire Road hosting it’s annual Summer Festival with a range of events, street performances and special offers available all day from 10.30am

The main attraction is a 30-minute “The Wizard of Oz” play-let day, featuring Dorothy and her three companions, which will be performed every hour from 10.30. Afterwards the ‘Wizard’ characters will wander Devonshire Road entertaining the young ones and at 2.30pm Chiswick Pets host a Dog Agility Competition. An hour later at 3.30pm the Top Hat ‘beach’ will witness Chiswick’s first-ever “Limbo Challenge”!

Each of the participating shops and businesses will have their own individual giveaways and special offers available to visitors - treats for adults and children alike - loads of fun things for the whole community to enjoy! There will also be some great summer food and drink offerings – including a mouth-watering hog-roast - and live music all day too, with a swing band providing the rhythms in the morning and a steel-band taking over for the afternoon session,.

Tickets for the fantastic Summer Festival Raffle will be on sale throughout the Road with 20 fantastic prizes helping raise funds for the nominated charity ‘The Riding for the Disabled Association’...so come along, support a deserving charity and enjoy some summer fun on Devonshire Road – something special in the heart of Chiswick!
