Lots of fun events as well as a chance to help local charities

In previous years some of the Devonshire Road traders have organised a street party for the community and their customers to enjoy as the summer starts winding down, this year some of the more community orientated businesses decided to band together and try something a little different-

A charity street fair, will be held on 14 September and Hounslow Council has given permission to close the road between 10am and 4pm. Many local councillors have given their support for the project.

As well as the usual mix of traditional stalls you would find at a village fete- home made cakes, tombola, face painting, bric-a-brac etc there will be a number of charities having stalls ranging from our co-organisers ‘All Dogs Matter’ to ‘Hounslow Animal Welfare’, ‘W4 Youth’ and many other different animal charities.

As usual the businesses on Devonshire Road have donated prizes and vouchers for the cause, so keep your eyes open for chances to win some fabulous prizes including dining experiences at cafes and restaurants including a meal for 2 at Michelin starred ‘La Trompette’.

Some of the shops have organised special offers, give-aways, live music, salsa dancing etc to add a bit more party spirit, so come and join in the fun on September 14th- support your local independent traders and a whole host of charitable causes at the same time.
