Artisan Food Market Opens on Chiswick High Road | |||
Hush Hush Chefs offering pies, quiches and a range of produce
A new business describing itself as an Artisan Food Market has opened in W4. Hush Hush Chefs have taken over the vacant former mobile phone shop on 286 Chiswick High Road next to Gail’s Bakery. The letting of the unit was handled by Whitman Commercial. The firm previously have operated through stalls at events such as Royal Ascot and Kew the Music as well as farmers’ markets. This appears to be their first venture in operating out of a permanent base. They offer salads, quiches, bread, pastries, artisan produce as well as coffee and promise that all food is freshly made to order by highly trained chefs.
The opening is another hopeful sign for the High Road which has seen a number of vacant units filled recently. Bread Ahead recently set up nearby at 316 Chiswick High Road with the lease arranged by MJ Finn Commercial. An application was made last month for a change of use to allow a café/restaurant to be opened at 286 Chiswick High Road.
