Greggs set to reopen next week after refurbishment
It has been the cause of much consternation in Chiswick but we have been reassured that Greggs has not closed down, it is undergoing a facelift. Praise of their pasties can be heard the length and breath of W4, proof that not all local residents are fans of the £3.00 a cup cake style newcomers. The large lunchtime queues are said to be down to the fact that Greggs is cheap and cheerful and does a decent sarnie and splendid sausage roll. Although Greggs have a core range of products that are sold in every shop around the country, they say they try and cater for local tastes by including traditional bakery products and lines that are popular with customers in that area. A spokesperson for Greggs told ChiswickW4.com, “At the moment we are planning to re-open on the 5th of July but the date is flexible.” July 1, 2010 |
