Devonshire Road retailer wins national competition for their creative window display
Devonshire Road's babye has won an award for their creative window display. The children's retailer took part in a competition run by manufacturer Bugaboo to mark the launch of the company's new and improved Bugaboo Bee. "The competition called for creativity: clear and simple," Bugaboos Christine Mathias told ChiswickW4.com. "We’re a design focused company, so we asked for innovative ideas. "When all the entries came in, we posted the top windows on our Bugaboo intranet blog and Bugaboo employees from around the world voted on who had the best window. babye was the clear UK winner because of their creativity and ability to think outside the box… literally! "They followed the guidelines and therefore the Bugaboo style by focusing on mobility (city scene with airplane and Bugaboo Bee), springtime (using bright colours and fauna), and still managed to keep it simple! "We loved the added element of recycling the cardboard boxes from the pushchair itself, as bugaboo is always trying to be mindful of the world around us." July 5, 2010 |
