So, Top Hat made it past our 50th anniversary serving the people of Chiswick and for Christmas 2018 we will again look back on those who have helped us across those many years: staff, of course, are very important but it's our customers that continue to help us pay the bills. So at this time of year, when we generally see the best in people, we too like to say ‘thank you' and let our local community know that your custom is very much appreciated.

As the seasonal traditions dictate, on Saturday 8th December we will again ply you with Warm Winter Sloe Gin and tantalise you with homemade baked treats – Billy's mince pies and cupcakes made by my Mum. To supplement the food and drink, we'll warm the spirits and enjoy Ray Lowe's wonderful voice with his excellent Rat Pack tribute from 11 am.

As ever, throughout the day we will be taking donations for a deserving charity. In September this year, my Dad, Mike Senior, who founded Top Hat in 1967 with Mum, passed away, so we'll remember and honour him, and collect donations for The British Lung Foundation.

At Top Hat we know we do a good job – we've been great drycleaners for over 50 years – but we also care about those around us and we understand the importance of ‘community'. We think you can run a small business while putting something back into the local community, it's just part of what we do. So come along, say ‘hi' or ‘Merry Christmas', enjoy a homemade mince pie and perhaps something to warm you, or steady your nerves, before you venture out into Christmassy Chiswick!
