Paul Fitzgerald from hair salon PR HAIR in Turnham Green Terrace, has reached the Regional Heats of the hairdressing industry’s prestigious competition, the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2012, in the Color Category.

Following Paul Fitzgerald’s success in the Photographic Heat on Wednesday 4 April, he is now one of only 36 hairdressers in the Southern area to reach the Regional Final.

Created to discover and acknowledge the industry’s most skilled hair stylists and colourists, the competition focuses on all aspects of hair styling and colouring, and the award is judged by some of the UK’s leading hair icons.

Each year, Wella Professionals produces four key trend looks that are designed to inspire the competition. This year the four trends are Blaze, Celeste, Roxy and Grace and entrants are asked to interpret one of them with their own personal style. Having successfully made it through the Photographic Stage with their interpretation of Blaze, Paul will now go onto their Regional Final where they will showcase their chosen trend on a live model in a dazzling evening show.

Now, Paul Fitzgerald will now have time to prepare for the regional final on Monday 26th September at the Roundhouse in London’s Camden. Should Paul be successful he will be invited to take part in the UK & Ireland Final on Monday 8th October.
