The Hogarth's Mulberry Garden Project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the London Borough of Hounslow has seen the garden redesigned and added a new learning space, the Weston Studio to the site. Following this major redevelopment, Hogarth's House is launching a new programme with a special exhibition, events and activities this Summer.

Paula Rego at Hogarth's House, 20 July – 26 November

Admission free In 2021 Paula Rego was described in The Times as being “Britain's Greatest Female Artist.” This special exhibition contains 42 works by the artist, original printing plates made by the artist and a series of six never before seen prints “The Wine Series” which are to be given to the House. The exhibition includes a range of the artist's work from throughout her career and will explore her admiration for Hogarth's work and its influence on her own work. The Cristea Roberts Gallery has generously loaned the pieces in this exhibition. More details about the exhibition here.

The Angry Musician – a family-friendly play, 23 – 25 July

£15 children, £20 adults Pulp Rocket Theatre is bringing a family-friendly open air theatre performance to the Mulberry Garden at Hogarth's House. Inspired by Hogarth's The Enraged Musician , families can enjoy this unique play in the artist's former garden. Showtimes and booking details here.

Half-day drop-off kids' camp, Tuesdays in August

£25 per child per session Children aged 8-12 can enjoy outdoor (weather depending) and craft activities in our Mulberry Garden and new Weston Studio around a different theme each week from 9.00 to 12.00. Themes and booking details here.

Drop-in family make and take, Bank Holiday Monday 30 August

£2 per child From 12.30 – 15.30 families can get creative during their visit with a make and take craft activity. Its Bank Holiday fun for the whole family. No pre-booking required, spaces are first come first served on the day. More details here.

Printing demos, Saturdays in August

£2 - £4 per person Learn more about printing and the processes that went into making the prints you see on display in the House. Each demo will cover Hogarth as a printmaker, the embossing or drypoint printing technique and a hands-on opportunity to make print your own uniquely designed plate. No pre-booking required, spaces are first come first served on the day. More details here.

Hogarth's House is the former home of the Painter, Engraver and Satirist William Hogarth, known as the Father of English Painting. It has been open to the public since 1904 and displays a comprehensive collection of his works are on display at the House as well as information on his life both in the House and within his social circles. Admission free.
