Festive Food And Local Art At The Food Market This Sunday | |
Come along between 10 and 2 for some Christmas treats and wonderful presents
Two of our resident artists will be joining our Christmas market this Sunday. Roz Wallis makes beautiful practical and decorative pottery pieces and Keira Rathbone produces amazing pictures and printed tee shirts using a typewriter. Both make lovely bespoke gifts. Peter Beck from Just Desserts has come out of retirement, by popular demand to sell his wonderful, homemade minced pies and Christmas puddings and March House Farm has all the seasonal meats, including three bird roasts to order. We have; fresh veg, raw milk and dairy products, fruit and juices from farms in Kent, Sussex and Lincoln and a range of fantastic artisan cheeses from Big Wheel cheese, bread and bakes from Astons and fresh pasta from La Tua plus olives and fresh brewed coffee to warm you while you shop. After shopping there's the park with its children's playground and riverside walk to enjoy. The market is a social enterprise organised by Dukes Meadows Trust, proceeds from running it are used to improve and maintain the park. Getting to the market; The E3 and 190 buses stop close by or you can walk or cycle along the Thames Path. Parking is available in the park along Riverside Drive. www.thefoodmarketchiswick.com Advertisement December 9, 2020 |
