C.S.Fiore' had a passion for the analysis of written clauses and inventing stories since a young age. In the mid 80's, she took her first course by correspondence with the WRITING SCHOOL based in High Road, London N22 under the tutorship of John O'Toole. In the mid- 1990's, she followed a two-years course on creative writing by Sheila Sidebottom in a hall in Acton, London W3. In 1999, she participated in The Daily Telegraph competition for a 50-words story winning a place for her piece ‘NOTICE' in the 'Murder and other stunts' section of the resulting book ‘Mini Sagas' published by Sutton of Stroud.
She then concentrated on family life and her other passion: teaching foreign languages. A polyglot herself, she speaks, reads and writes in French, Spanish, Italian and English. She understands, should the need arise, German, Portuguese, Greek and Russian. She studied Latin and classic Mythology at school. Her favourite books are the histories by Herodotus and The Rise of the Roman Empire by Polybius. She is also an avid reader of literature in the original language and of history of the world. Interested in all aspects of cinema, she watches also documentaries, political debates and tennis events on parabolic TV.
Later, C.S.Fiore found time to go to other writing courses and, occasionally, to write poems. She attended classes at the City of Westminster in April 206 for ‘Introduction to writing and directing for drama'. At the City Lit, she attended evening courses on screen-writing stages I&2 from 4/2011 to 10/2014. However, she found screen-writing format too restrictive and chose to express her creative ideas for a film in her own way. She conceived a structure by combining her two favourite disciplines, creative and play writing, in a book which she calls a genetic hybrid entitled DANCING WITH H.
Dancing with H. took six years to write, needing extensive amount of historical researches so facts could mix effectively with fiction. Calling herself a historiographer, she brings her own fictional interpretation to people and events during the Second World War.
The story reads as a film. C.S.Fiore has set the initial scene and mood allowing the reader to create sequences within their own film by becoming the director, the actors, the sound engineer throughout the different stages of production and shooting.
C.S.Fiore is currently writing a second book and waiting, like everyone else, to go back to normal life.
