A Day In The Life Of A Pre-Schooler | |
At Banana Moon Day Nursery Chiswick
My tummy was rumbling because it was 11:30 – just in time for lunch! Our favourite chef in the world, Emiliano, cooks all our meals. I ate all my lasagne and loved crunching down on the cucumbers on our salad. Everyone was getting a bit yawn-y after eating and we had story time with Mr Jay. While my friends gathered with Miss Pauline to make a volcano, I decided to practice my counting on the interactive board. Today, I counted up to sixteen ladybirds. Every week I get better. In phonics we are learning Aa, like ‘Aa Aa Apple', or ‘Aa Aa Ant'. We can write apple by drawing around the apple and down the leaf. It was time to go into the garden so we put on our coats and outdoor shoes. After a lot of practice, I can tie my laces up by myself! Me, Rosie and Lizzy made mud cakes in our mud kitchen. The rest of my friends painted the window with bubble water and paint rollers.
We came inside and warmed ourselves up with yummy, yellow, butternut squash soup and bread. I knew it was nearly home time because some of my friends started getting picked up. Daddy came and got me at 18:30. He always gives me a shoulder lift to the car. I can't wait to go home, go to bed and see my friends again tomorrow!
