'Open plan' flat near Gunnersbury where you don't have to walk far to get clean

A studio flat with a shower in the kitchen has gone on the market in Chiswick for over £200 a week.

The flat has been “refurbished to a high standard” according to an advert on Gumtree, and has a monthly rental of £850.

The ad describes it as having its “own shower” and an “open plan kitchen" – but the shower is situated right next to the kitchen work surfaces and the sink and cooker.

The ad has drawn a good deal of newspaper attention and people have commented on social media.

This is not the first time a similar property has been marketed in W4. A bedsit in Ravenscroft Road, with a price tag of just £95 per week, was put up for rent in January last year which also featured a shower in the room.
