Years after Est Est Est closed down, Q Developments have inveiled their plans to redevelop the disused building on Chiswick High Road to create two family townhouses and seven luxury two and three bedroom apartments.

The new scheme designed by architects, Conran & Partners, will see part of the original exterior of the building restored, whilst the new elements have been designed in keeping with the historic surroundings, so it maintains its Victorian charm.

In contrast to its exterior, inside, the properties will be contemporary in design with each home completed with numerous modern features such as comfort cooling and mood lighting as well as comprehensive home entertainment systems. Each home will also come with a secure underground car space – a huge benefit for anyone living in Chiswick!

David Jones, Developments Director from Q Developments said: “Chiswick is an extremely popular area for young families and city professionals, so naturally, demand for property is high. We’re delighted that we’ve been able to bring a formerly derelict site back to life, creating much needed new homes that will be in keeping with their surroundings.”

Work has just started on site, and Q Developments hope to complete the development by spring 2012.
