Chestertons asking for winter clothing donations for the vulnerable
A Chiswick based estate agent is again launching an appeal for people to donate their unwanted winter coats at their offices. During the month of November during office hours you can bring the clothing, which should be clean and in a good condition, to Chestertons office at 155 Chiswick High Road opposite the junction with Turnham Green Terrace. For last year’s Calling London Winter Coat Drive, Chestertons overall collected 1500 out of a total of 2500 total coats collected, with the Chiswick office amassing in excess of 160 coats, being one of the top collection points throughout the company. Calling London's founder Francis Manthos, said, "In winter no child should be going to school without a warm coat, but sadly in London many children do. For six years, Calling London has been working with schools, businesses and councils to collect unwanted winter coats and redistribute them to charitable groups across London. This year, we would love your help." The target for this year is 4,000 coats. You can either drop them off to the local Chestertons branch or contact marketing@chestertons.com and they will arrange a collection. October 26, 2016 |
