Mark your calendars for two back to back ‘quintessentially Chiswick' weekends in June. Artists At Home weekend, the highly anticipated annual open studios event where both up and coming and world renowned local artists open their homes and studios to the public is scheduled for Friday 14th June, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th. You'll receive a warm welcome complete with refreshments at 59 open studios across W4, W6 and W12 so visit www.artistsathome.co.uk to preview the artists, curate your shortlist of studios and plan your route.

The weekend, which begins on Friday evening at 6pm – so you can stop in to the first studios on your shortlist after work, snapping up stunning pieces from both internationally renowned and emerging local artists - and ends on Sunday afternoon takes place one week after Chiswick's longest running and most popular village fete, Green Days. Pick up your studio guide at Green Days from the Artists At Home table on either Saturday 9th June or Sunday the 10th and make sure to look out for the intrepid group of children from St Michael and All Angels Church who will be completing a sponsored ‘water carry walk' through Bedford Park in aid of Water Harvest, a charity that helps sustainably ‘harvest' monsoon rainwater in India. The children will carry water through Bedford Park to their stand at Green Days to mirror the daily journey made by their Indian counterparts. These events are preceded by the opening night of the first annual Chiswick Proms which will take place in the spectacular surroundings of Chiswick House and Gardens on the evening of Friday 7th June.
