Last weekend saw the end of Chiswick’s local tennis team
Will to Win’s quest to lift the winter mixed Middlesex Cup against a very strong Vicars Moor team from Winchmore Hill.
However special praise is due to Olivia Faber, Gunnell Russell, Penny Armstrong, Gavin Balance, Nick Armstrong and team captain Phill Tait.
The match was played on Sunday in continual rain but thanks to the excellent astro turf courts of the north London opponents uninterrupted play was possible.
