Chiswick Draw With Rover Oxford |

Hockey result : PHC Chiswick 1 Rover Oxford 1
PHC Chiswick entertained Rover Oxford on Saturday and struggled to dominate and dictate the flow of the game as they have done in recent weeks. In the opening 15 minutes Chiswick could have conceded a couple of early goals but for some excellent goalkeeping from Rob Cooper but despite this they went a goal down after 17 minutes when they failed to clear a well worked short corner form Oxford. The half time break Chiswick came out and improved slightly and had a number of corners saved by the Oxford keeper who was in fine form. It wasn’t until the 60th minute that Chiswick manage to convert through Tom Lemaire following a goal mouth scramble and Chiswick could have had a late winner following a number of corners but failed to convert any of these chances. PHC Chiswick entertain Maidenhead who lie in 3rd place in the league in what will be a tough match. February 23, 2010
