Profits from the competition are to be donated to charity
A new six-a-side football league is to begin this month at Kings House Sports Ground. The league kicks off on 29 February and games will take place every Monday. Teams will then be competing for a range of prizes including custom made trophies. There is also a chance to play at the National 6 side championships. Profits from the league will be donated to charity, for which organiser Leisure Leagues have been praised by, amongst others, David Cameron and Prince Charles. Games cost £30 and happen between the times of 8-10pm. All players will receive free shirts and shorts together with a waiving of the usual £25 registration fee. There are more than £100 worth of free gifts for all teams who enter the competition. All standards are catered for with New Business Manager Chris Rowntree saying: “Whether you fancy yourself as the next Lionel Messi, or you are an honest trier who loves the game, or just a plain old Titus Bramble, then we can find room for you here. “We have been running leagues for 30 years and we are confident that we can give the same enjoyment to the community of Chiswick that we have already in so many places.” Qualified refs – with all equipment provided – will be in charge of the league, and are backed up by the strongest discipline structure there is, to ensure the games are competitive and fun. Anyone who wants to register a team can do so on www.leisureleagues.net or for more information they can call 0333 123 2340. February 2, 2016 |
