Quantus Restaurant in Devonshire Road Has Closed

South American-influenced eatery says goodbye after eight years

Quantus Restaurant at 38 Devonshire Road has announced that it has closed.

Owners Leo and Enes created their version of a modern restaurant with a South American influence eight years ago.

The restaurant name was taken from Latin, as Quantus means, “how great” or “as great as”.

The owners posted on Twitter this Thursday (12 July), "Regretfully Quantus has closed. Thank you once again for the loyal and continuous support you have shown us over the years we have been trading."

However, it seems that the owners may be setting up a new business, as the tweet also states: "HOPE WE WILL SEE YOU SOON IN OUR NEW VENTURE!"

We have asked the Quantus owners for comment.
