L'Art Cafe In London Auction House Closing

The 'meeting point between the old and the new' shuts Tuesday

L’Art Café which opened last October at the London Auction House on Chiswick High Road is to close this week.

The café, which is located to the front of the auction house, will close on Tuesday. It is thought that the space may be rented out independently, or may form part of the Auction House display area.

The cafe's interior was styled and curated with original pieces procured through the auction house and featured purple velvet sofas, wooden floors, artwork, and a display of antique silver teapots. There was also a selection of framed poetry and reviews on the walls.

The original vision was for a community hub, and some events, including a recent musical night, had been held there.
