The Grove Park Nisa convenience store at Station Parade, has closed to become part of a Co-operative convenience store.

The plan is to knock through the former corner shop and post office into what was the Grove Park Tandoori takeaway next door to open a larger grocery store as a Co-Op.

The Co-Op is also opening a large store opposite Gunnersbury station.

A planning application was approved last year by Hounslow Council for the erection of a single storey rear extension to both nos 5 and 6 Station Parade following amalgamation of both units, together with a new shopfront.

It is understood the Co-Op have leased the properties for the supermarket from the owner.

It is proposed (subject to agreement) that the core Co-Op deliveries are timed to be undertaken avoiding peak hours (10am – 4pm) in order to ensure there is minimal conflict and disruption with nearby residents. The shorter stay deliveries for newspapers, magazines, sandwiches and bread will occur early morning prior to the morning network peak hour.
