Nursery withdraws promised places
Teddies Nursery in Chiswick Park has sent a number of letters to local families retracting their offers of places. Originally believed to be a result of the Teddies Nursery at The Riverside Health Club being destroyed, it transpires that the withdrawals are down to an administrative error. Teddies' Operations Director Louise Hill said "We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience the over subscription of Teddies Chiswick Park Nursery has caused some parents. This over subscription is not due to the recent fire at Teddies Chiswick Riverside Nursery and no children from Chiswick Riverside have taken places previously booked. Unfortunately, due to an administration error, we were oversubscribed and have had to let a few parents know that there is currently no vacancy for their child at Teddies Chiswick Park Nursery. We will be working closely with these families to offer them alternative sessions available or, where possible, a place at one of our other local nurseries. All affected customers will take absolute priority on places which may become available in the months ahead. We encourage any parents with queries regarding our Chiswick Riverside or Chiswick Park nurseries to contact our help line on 020 8744 9429."
