Pizza Street in Turnham Green Terrace gets poor rating for food hygiene
Pizza Street, the artisan pizza and beer restaurant in Turnham Green Terrace has been told its food hygiene standards are in need of improvement. The restaurant was inspected by the Food Standards Agency on 14 June and given a rating of 2 which means 'improvement necessary'. The lowest rating is 1 and the highest is 5. Pizza Street opened in March 2016 on the corner site of the Turnham Green Chinese takeaway. The inspection report found that Food Hygiene and Safety was Poor; Structural Compliance was rated Poor and Confidence in Management was rated as 'Some'. A spokesperson for Pizza Street said they could confirm that all actions have been taken to achieve 5 stars from the allocated 2 star status. "Unfortunately we have to wait three months before the inspector can pay us another visit to confirm this. Until then, the highest standards are being kept and we'll just have to wait it out until their next visit, as we hope to get our 5 stars."
