La Toscana Has Closed

Yet another Italian restaurant bows out of Chiswick High Road

Chiswick's apparent bid to become the Little Italy of London appears to be dimishing as yet another Italian restaurant closes.

There is currently a Possession Order notice in the window of La Toscana restaurant and its website says that it has permanently closed.

The site at 26 Chiswick High Road was briefly occupied by Villa Etrusca and before that Caffe Piccolo was in situ for several years.

While Chiswick continues to be successful with its pizzerias, other Italian restaurants have not fared so well. In recent times, Valentina's has closed, as has Carluccio's.
