The premises of the Cabin Restaurant in Chiswick have reportedly been taken over by Honest Burger, a restaurant chain. Regular customers were dismayed when the restaurant closed without warning on Sunday 8 January. There was some speculation that the closure was just for a refurbishment but this now appears not to be the case.

According to reports in the restaurant press, the 2,000 sq ft site at 148 Chiswick High Road will become the nineteenth outlet for the company. The nearest branch currently open is on Fulham Palace Road in Hammersmith. The Chiswick site has capacity for over seventy covers.

According to the Honest Burger’s web site the price range for their burgers is from £8.50 to £12.75 including rosemary chips.

We have contacted Honest Burgers to confirm their plans.

We were unable to contact the owner of the Cabin Restaurant for comment.
