Hogarth Members Fight For Their Sox |

After long-time resident cat is threatened with eviction
The Hogarth Health Club’s resident feline has been spared from eviction after members launched a campaign to allow him to stay. Hogarth’s Jo Harris told ChiswickW4.com, “We received a visit from Health & Safety after a member complained about Sox being inside the club. We did try to keep putting him outside but there was absolute uproar from other members who wanted to start a petition and even meet with Health & Safety!” The rather portly black and white cat, who goes by the name of ‘Sox’, has been a feature of the Hogarth for many years, indeed he could be amongst the long standing members. “He adds character to the place,” said one member. “He’s just like part of the furniture.” “It’s no different from a pub having a dog,” adds Jo who assures us that Sox, who spends most of his day asleep in the bar, is kept firmly out of the kitchen.
