Bus Stop Poster Confuses Canning Town With Chiswick

TfL apologise for the two areas being mixed up

Transport for London (TfL) has apologised for a mistake in which an information poster for local bus routes on Chiswick High Road related to routes in Canning Town.

The bus stop affected is in front of the Villa de Geggiano restaurant on the High Road, close to the bus garage.

The error was brought to the attention of TfL who have said they will take immediate action to replace it with the correct bus route information.

TfL said they were sorry about the wrong bus map and any inconvenience it has caused.

"We will send out a member of our team to look into this shortly."

Canning Town is located in east London and over thirteen miles away from Chiswick. It would take over an hour to travel there on public transport.
