Whisk Cookshop in Devonshire Road has announced the winner of its Chiswick Book Festival competition. Anne Gill, the office administrator of Chiswick Pier Trust, is pictured in the shop with her prize, a Le Creuset Grillit pan.

Anne said: “It was very generous of my favourite kitchen shop, Whisk, to arrange the competition in conjunction with my favourite cookery writer, Lindsey Bareham. I was thrilled to be the lucky winner!”

Entrants for the draw had to name three books by Lindsey Bareham and three by Jo Pratt. The two cookery writers signed their books at Whisk as part of the Devonshire Road Street Party, before speaking at the Feeding Families session in the Chiswick Book Festival.

Both Lindsay's book 'The Trifle Bowl and Other Tales' and Jo Pratt's ' Madhouse Cookbook' are on sale in Waterstone's on Chiswick High Road.
