Hounslow Council is working with Transport for London (TfL) to review the road network in the Wellesley Road area and wants the views of local residents. The remit of the work is to engage with local residents to identify existing transport issues and then to develop ideas for solutions that may enhance the public realm for those that live here, according to the Council. The Council says it is also interested in ways that it can improve safety on the roads for more vulnerable road users - particularly pedestrians and cyclists. "This is an opportunity for you to let us know what the main transport issues in the area are - whether related to cycling and walking, or parking and through traffic - and we would encourage you to respond so that we can gain a good understanding of your priorities and issues at this time." The Council and TfL have commissioned the charity Sustrans to lead on this engagement work. Sustrans have put together a questionnaire for you to complete. The deadline for the survey is 29 June 2016. June 25, 2016 |
