Join the Turnham Green Clean Up This Sunday

A chance to help keep Chiswick tidy and get some amazing cake

There is another chance to help keep Chiswick tidy this weekend (25 July) with another Turnham Green Clean Up taking place.

Held each fourth Sunday of the month, the litter pick organised by Cllr Ron Mushiso is attracting a significant number of volunteers.

If you want to join meet at 2.30pm outside the Christ Church at Turnham Green W4 5DT with Environmental Champion Jill Spencer.

The plan is to do a good sweep of the green and any adjoining streets that need attention before congregating back at the Church step from 3:30pm for a chat and some cake.

Cllr Mushiso says, “For those of you who have tried Jill cakes, you know it’s worth it!”

Other litter picking will be going on around Chiswick at that time, and if you also wish to get a few people together to have a have focus in your most immediate area, then it can be arranged to bring some equipment and the green litter bags to you directly.
