Totally Thames River Swim

A wild swimming opportunity in the river

There will be a wild swimming opportunity on Wednesday 7th September as part of the Totally Thames Festival.

Swimmers will enter the river at the Black Lion Steps in Hammersmith at 6.30 p.m. and swim round Chiswick Eyot (anticlockwise) and return to the Black Lion during the high tide slack water period.  The water temperature is expected to be 16-17 deg C and triathlon style wetsuits will be allowed.

Safety cover will be provided by London Corinthian Sailing Club and Chiswick Sea Cadets.

Profits will be donated to Chiswick Sea Cadets, based at Chiswick Pier.
