Chiswick artist Holly Searle wants people to help her 'stitch up' the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.

Holly, who is known as The Subversive Stitcher, is collating a work of art of which consists of a patchwork of stitched messages and political opinions about the controversial Prime Minister.

Holly, who has a studio in Kew Bridge says: "I have been stitching since I was a child and have had several exhibitions including being part of the Cash is King one produced by my friend Carrie Reichardt at the Saatchi Gallery.

"Let's Stitch Up the PM Project is something I like to to do with more participation from members of the public."

Holly points out that stitching has been used as a subversive artistic expression for centuries.

Brought up and educated in Chiswick, her interest in needlework started at a young age, passed on from her mother and grandmother. She studied film and television at university before becoming a full time visual artist.

Her work can be seen on her website, as well as on Instagram.

If ayone wants to contribute a piece of work to the Stitch Up Tthe PM project they can submit their offering (12x12 ins square) by contacting Holly on her website.

She will also be looking for ideas about where to exhibit the work at a later date.
