Southfield Primary Is Top Of The Class

Wins special award from government for results improvements

Local Southfield Primary School have been given an achievement prize of £1000 for their outstanding Key Stage 2 results in 2014, from David Laws, Minister of Schools.

The focus of the award was the progress and attainment made by the children given the Pupil Premium funding, given that they were significantly above national averages.

Councillor Gary Busuttil said: "The staff have worked very hard over the past year to help children progress with their learning. Well done."
