A concert of Songs and Arias will be held at St Nicholas Church, Church Street, W4 on Friday 26 April.

This is as return visit for the pianist Fiachra Garvey, following his sell out concert last year, and this time he is joined by the soprano Lauren Fagan.

Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Fiachra is the Founder and Artistic Director of the West Wicklow Festival, Ireland, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Dublin International Piano Competition.
He has won prizes in London, Italy, Dublin, Prague and Paris and made his Fazioli Auditorium and Wigmore Hall debuts in 2013. He has also performed in Japan, China, Germany and Switzerland and in London.

His current concert series in Dublin National Concert Hall of the complete works by Beethoven and Bach for cello and piano in 2019 is sold out.

Australian soprano and rising international star Lauren Fagan is one of 20 finalists in this year’s BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition.

She was nominated best ‘Young Singer’ of the year in 2018’s International Opera Awards, and her role debut as Violetta for the UK’s Opera Holland Park last year saw her described by The Guardian as “one of today’s finest young sopranos” and “exceptional throughout.” In 2020 she will return to Opera Holland Park as Tatyana (Eugene Onegin)

Lauren Fagan is a previous member of the Royal Opera House’s renowned Jette Parker Young Artists Programme, and a graduate of London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

All supper tickets have all sold out quickly – however concert tickets are available for £10 which includes a glass of Pimms. Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
