Death Of Local Resident Sidney Handel |

A patron of the arts, and popular local figure
The death has been announced of long-time Chiswick resident Sidney Handel, who died on 24th March at Chiswick Nursing Centre in Ravenscourt Park. A life-long resident of Chiswick, he first lived in Thornton Avenue and latterly at Burlington Gardens. He was very active in the arts, was a fan of the theatre and singing, and well-known to many people in the area. Sidney worked for many years as a primary school teacher. His funeral will take place at Mortlake Crematorium on Monday 11th April at 4pm. Anyone who wishes to attend could contact his nephew Laurence Aston by emailing aston@mailbox.co.uk.
