Special concert at St Paul's Church, Grove Park

St Paul’s Church, Grove Park, will hold a commemorative concert on June 8th, to mark the 100 year anniversary of the start of World War I.

The concert will include readings and poetry as well as diary entries from both British and German soldiers and the music will be a mix of classical favourites and popular songs of the time. Doors will open at 6.15pm for drinks in the garden, and then the concert will begin at 7 pm.

St Paul's would very much like to include personal memories in the concert from anyone in the local community who has reminiscences of the Great War from their families.
