Sainsbury Changes Rules On Free Car Parking |

Customers will have to spend £10 to avoid paying charge
The car park at the busy Sainsbury's supermarket near Essex Place in Chiswick is to change the rules for parking from this Monday (8 October). A notice has been posted saying a new system will be imposed which will mean customers will have to spend £10 in store before qualifying for two hours free parking. Until now the charge has been £5 to qualify for validation of the parking card at the checkout. New barriers and kiosks will be installed which will take cash, card and contactless payment options. "We'll be slightly increasing the parking charges for non-customers to help ensure that spaces are available when you need them" it says. There is no indication that the current half hour free parking will no longer be available. October 7, 2017 |
