Blow out the Winter Blues with Rebel Yell jazz orchestra, for one night only, Friday 24 November, 7.30pm, St Nicholas’s Church, Church St., W4 2PJ, presented by the Friends of St Nicholas Church

The 17 piece big band Rebel Yell, complete with a full complement of Saxophones, trumpets, trombones, keyboards, strings and percussion, specialise in the music of Francy Bolland of the legendary Clarke-Boland Big band, supplemented by Duke Ellington, Bill Holman, Duke Pearson, Callum Au and others.

All the players are extremely accomplished musicians - many are virtuoso performers in their own right - and they come together regularly to play with their charismatic band leader, saxophonist Bill Symington. Together they make a colourful, impressive, hugely musical, full-on jazz big band sound.

Tickets on the door £7 (concessions £5); refreshments available.
