Glad Greetings and Fond Farewells

The Petros Singers, at St Michael & All Angels

"Glad Greetings and Fond Farewells" will be performed at St Michael and All Angels Church, Bath Road W4, 7.30.pm tonight, Saturday 30 June . The music will explore musical portraits of hellos and goodbyes and will feature Parry's Songs of Farewell.

The Director is Richard Bannan and the Organist Andrew Wells.

The Petros Singers are one of London’s leading amateur chamber choirs. They perform a wide variety of music to a high standard, placing particular emphasis on vibrant and communicative singing. Their Musical Director, Richard Bannan, was a choral scholar at Clare College, Cambridge before embarking on a career as a professional vocal musician, arranger and teacher. He now sings as a Lay-Clerk at St George's Chapel, Windsor and with the major UK professional ensembles. He was a member of the choir which sang at the recent Royal Wedding in Windsor.
