Two Members Of Chiswick Parishes Ordained As Deacons |

Friends, family and clergy attend a service at St Paul's Cathedral
Two members of Chiswick parishes, Andy Rooney from St Nicholas and Alan Trigle from St Michael and All Angels, were ordained Deacon by the Bishop of London on Saturday 4th July. They joined 38 other ordinands in a packed St Paul's Cathedral where at the climax of a joyous service, the Bishop laid hands on each of them, praying for them to "Receive the Holy Spirit for the life and work of a Deacon in God's Church". Andy and Michele Rooney They will now go to serve in churches across London, from Bow in the East to Hampton in the West. Alan and Jane Trigle Andy will serve at Holy Innocents in Hammersmith, and Alan at St Thomas Kensal Town, and both will also continue in secular employment, as banker and translator respectively.
