Chart Topper For Chiswick Music Producer

Sees Money On My Mind Reach Number One

A young Chiswick music producer is enjoying the success of seeing his work reach the coveted Number One slot in the charts.

Local Ben Ash, aka Two Inch Punch wrote the music and produced the song Money On My Mind.which has now topped the Charts for singer Sam Smith.

Ben went to Chiswick School and Strand on the Green and has been a music producer for many well known artists, but this is his first number one.  He also wrote another track Life Support with Smith, which features on the singer's album In The Lonely Hour.

His mother Jackie commented: "We are all so proud of him!"

Ben has remixed tracks for well-known bands and solo musicians including Jessie Ware and is well known and highly regarded in the music industry.

Sam Smith was the BBC's Sound of 2014 and Brits Critics' Choice and the song took the top spot, selling 108,000 copies.
