A memorial day has been held to remember the late Rocky Skinner, a well-known popular rugby coach with Chiswick Rugby Club.
Friends said; "Rocky had an effect on many rugby teams, but the four teams he spent most of his time coaching were Richmond, Middlesex, Rosslyn Park and Chiswick. "
His experience and passion for the game of rugby not only aided in the development of young rugby players, but it also developed them into men, said one friend.
Rocky touched the lives of so many people in such a positive way, and this was a way for him to that again through this event.
The memorial day at the club, which included two matches, also had food and drink and a bouncy castle for children. A charity auction was also held to raise funds.
All proceeds are going to Trinity Hospice who were instrumental in providing care and support.
