New High Commissioner To Malawi Is From Chiswick

Local woman Holly Tett will move to Africa with her family

The new UK High Commissioner in Malawi will be a Chiswick woman, Holly Tett.

Ms Tett will be going to Malawi in December with her partner, explorer Mark Kalch and their four children, aged between 6 years and 6 months.

She succeeds Mr. Michael Nevin.

Ms Tett has been with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office since 2002 and has served in Buenos Aires, Addis Ababa and Tunis as well as heading up an Iraq Enquiry Team in 2009-10. She will take up her appointment in early 2017.
