Success For Macmillan Coffee Mornings

Carvosso's received special praise for its efforts as a top fundraiser

Several coffee mornings were held to raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer charity last week with Carvosso's bar and restaurant on Chiswick High Road getting special praise.

The coffee and cake event at Carvosso's raised £1,000 and the result from their Giving page was £1030. The charity sent a message to say that they were in the top 5 % of fundraisers for September.

"Out of 98,877 fundraisers you were in the top 5%. Well done on raising so much for your charity."

Events were also held at many private houses, as well as churches, pubs, and community centres.

The event at St Nicholas Church raised £700.
