Lavish display as new greengrocer opens in former Zecca

A new greengrocers has opened in Turnham Green Terrace which is attracting a lot of attention with its lavish displays of exotic fruit and vegetables.

Lemons and Limes is owned by a Turkish family, who also operate a similar store in west Hampstead.

The shop sells a huge variety of produce- there were fourteen different types of tomato on sale when chiswickw4.com visited, and dozens of different apple varieties. Exotic fruits such as mangosteen and vegetables such as Mooli were also on display.

Lemons and Limes also sells olive oils, pickles, home-made smoothies, and dry goods such as breakfast cereals, nuts, herbs, juices etc

They also have dried fruit, and quail and duck eggs on sale - business has been brisk since the shop opened last week. The owners said they chose Chiswick because it was an area where people cared about quality of food and having a healthy lifestyle.

Opening hours are from 8-8 pm which is likely to suit commuters coming out of the Turnham Green tube station.
