The three familiar faces for Homefields ward have been declared elected; Cllrs John Todd, Gerald McGregor and Robert Oulds will return to represent Chiswick residents in Hounslow Council.

However, Labour candidate Mendora Ogbogbo, a relatively new face in the ward, polled very well receiving 1,349 votes, which was only 229 votes fewer than Cllr Oulds.

After the result was declared, Cllr Gerald McGregor declared they had had a very good campaign and were all delighted to be returned as councillors. Asked why he felt that Chiswick remained so staunchly Tory, he said that he believed people in Chiswick felt their Conservative councillors worked to protect the things they believed in.
